Suddenlink’s “Operation Gigaspeed” has added three more markets to its fold. The company has expanded its 1Gbps internet service to Georgetown, Texas; Lake Charles, Louisiana; and St. Joseph, Missouri.
This comes just a couple weeks after Suddenlink rolled out to another six markets. Suddenlink 1Gbps service is now deployed in 27 markets.
Suddenlink wants to have 1Gbps deployed across 90% of its service area, which is in 17 states mostly in the Midwest and the south, by the end of 2017. Altice is still awaiting approval from the FCC for its purchase of Suddenlink.
