Suddenlink Communications has hired former Insight Communications executive Gregg Graff as its senior vice president of sales. Graff, who will be based in Suddenlink’s St. Louis headquarters, is in charge of all of Suddenlink’s residential sales-related activities across all channels.
Prior to Time Warner Cable’s purchase of Insight, Graff served as senior vice president of field operations. In that role, he helped the Insight sales team generate 16 percent growth in basic TV subscribers over a four-year period. Graff was also senior vice president of video services and senior vice president of operations at Insight.
“We are delighted to have Gregg join the Suddenlink team,” said Suddenlink COO Tom McMillin. “He is a proven executive with a respected background in operations, sales and all facets of our business. We look forward to him continuing his success in gaining market share for Suddenlink.”
Graff, a 28-year veteran of the communications industry, holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from John Carroll University and is a graduate of the Cable Executive Management program at the Harvard Business School.
Suddenlink Communications is the nation’s seventh-largest cable operator. It serves approximately 1.4 million residential customers and thousands of commercial customers, primarily in Arkansas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas and West Virginia.
