Sunrise Telecom has introduced a palm-sized DSL tester designed for service verification.
The SunLite UDSL can test multiple DSL standards, including the several variations of both ADSLx and VDSLx.
By empowering technicians to use a single device for testing networks and broadband services that employ either ADSLx or VDSLx connections, as well as the different “flavors” of each technology, the SunLite UDSL reduces the need to equip technicians with multiple testers.
The SunLite UDSL features one-button test capabilities for key modem status measurements, the company said. The SunLite UDSL also supports service verification for VoIP and IP video, providing a single solution for testing triple-play services delivered through DSL connections.
The SunLite USDL has a 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen and weighs less than 1.5 pounds. Its USB host connector enables file management and software upgrades, and the solution supports test ports for both DSL and 10/100 Ethernet.
