T-Mobile is rolling out new plans for business customers who would rather pay overage fees than have their data speeds slowed to a crawl.
The new mobile broadband plans offer enterprise subscribers a choice between throttling and overage fees.
“The availability of our new overage-free and high-speed data plans empowers our customers to not only choose the right amount of data, but, more importantly, choose a plan that best addresses their business priorities,” said Frank Sickinger, vice president of business sales.
The plans come with four levels: 500 MB, 2 GB, 5 GB and 10 GB. The “overage-free” plans, available now, range from $25 to $78, depending on whether a customer picks a Classic plan or a Value plan.
The “high-speed” plans will be available by the end of July and cost from $20 to $75, with overage charges ranging from 2 cents per megabyte to 10 cents per megabyte, depending on the bucket of data.
T-Mobile did not say whether it planned to offer the plans to its non-enterprise customers.
