Telus is implementing software from UXP Systems to help it personalize video on demand recommendations on its Optik TV Service.
Telus will use UXP’s Mint platform to create a unique video experience for each member of its customer households.
The Mint Software Suite enables operators to integrate blended and over-the-top services and extend authenticated access to any screen.
“As part of our Customers First philosophy, we are continuously investing in tools and technologies that allow us to offer richer and more personalized experiences to our Optik TV customers,” said Chris Langdon, vice-president, consumer products and services at Telus.
“Our partnership with UXP Systems demonstrates our commitment to introducing new, forward-thinking innovations that allow us to provide our valued customers with a more tailored TV viewing experience.”
“Individual user personalization is the next frontier for television, and for service providers in general across wireless and wireline services,” said Gemini Waghmare, CEO of UXP Systems.
“Service providers have the opportunity to make every experience seamless and personalized across devices. We see a world where every user has individualized access to a collection of operator and cloud services, which they can access on any device, at any time.”
