Terabeam Corp. launched its “fiberless” optic system in Denver, the second city the company serves.
The company says its metro area network sends an invisible beam of light, of the same wavelength as fiber optic cables, from its hub site to a customer’s office, through its windows.
“By beaming invisible light directly through office windows, customers can receive Terabeam’s service within 30 days,” company VP of Sales in Denver Michael Barney says in a statement.
The service provides speeds of 5, 10, 100 and 1,000 Mbps, Terabeam reports.
