The highly anticipated Tesla Model 3 will be made available in both sedan and crossover forms, according to Tesla Motors CTO JB Straubel.
Straubel, who broke the news today while at a conference in Washington, D.C., also said that Tesla believes its lithium-ion batteries will become “the predominant and primary fuel for light vehicles.” The statements made by Straubel were reported by the Wall Street Journal, which also reported that the company expects to sell 500,000 vehicles annually by 2020.
