Before my brain boots up for the day, my caffeine batteries have to be fully charged. Anyone who enjoys a hot beverage can attest to the constant struggle of keeping our favorite drinks at the perfect temperature. Usually the first few sips of my morning coffee are simply delightful, but those last few chugs – not so much.

Glowstone Smart Mug could be the answer to any hot beverage woes. The tech-infused mug, made from Fine Bone China, heats your drink between 60°C (140°F) and 65°C (150°F). Once the ideal temperature is reached, a light will notify you to begin the drinking process. As you guzzle down your last sip, or after 30 idle minutes, the Smart Mug will turn off.

The batteries are charged wirelessly through the complementary Qi coaster. It has a standard micro USB lead and power adaptor, but it can also plug into your computer’s standard USB port. And if any of your other electronic devices needs a re-charging session, the Qi coaster is at your service.

Since all the electronic components are sealed in its base, you can safely pop this cup into the dishwater. The 22mm (0.9 in.) deep recess base is home for the following: a wireless power receiver, heater, two rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, film thermistor and additional electronics and sensors. All this technology helps to create a fully automatic device, so your only focus is on your hot delicious drink.
