Time Warner Cable’s Whole House On Demand service recently became available in Lincoln, Nebraska and surrounding areas.
Whole House On Demand allows subscribers to watch purchased on demand programming on digital boxes throughout the home. If a customer purchases an on demand program on a TV in the family room, they can now also watch it on a TV in another room.
“Whole House On Demand is an innovative feature that delivers both value and convenience to our customers,” said Time Warner Cable spokesperson Ann Shrewsbury. “We are happy to offer our digital cable subscribers a new product that is easy to use at no additional charge.”
Time Warner Cable didn’t say what type of physical layer was being used to send the content from one box to another in a home, but the nation’s second-largest cable operator is a member of the Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA).
