Time Warner Cable recently hired Dan Schmitz as the company’s new director of operations for Time Warner Cable Business Services in Wisconsin.
Schmitz came to Time Warner Cable from Structured Broadband Services, where he served as vice president.
In his new role, various Time Warner Cable employees in the state will report to Schmitz, including the Wisconsin Business Class project coordinator, project managers, technical operations supervisors and field engineer supervisors.
“Dan brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Time Warner Cable Business Services,” said Paul Dasbach, vice president of operations for business services for the Midwest Region. “He has led teams in the startup of new operations and construction of fiber, coaxial, twisted pair and wireless networks. Dan has a solid track record of launching and supporting new services in competitive markets.”
During his 28-year telecommunications career, Schmitz also served as director of installation and maintenance for BellSouth Entertainment, as president at Aerial Contractors and as technical operations manager for Comcast Cable.
