Time Warner Cable has completed its makeover of the company’s Web portal, which included the addition of geolocation technology.
In a recent blog post, Time Warner Cable’s Patrick Kirkland wrote that Time Warner Cable’s in-house e-commerce team, along with the help of creatives and developers across the country, came together last year to design, build and launch the new TWC.com.
In addition to the new look, Time Warner Cable added in geolocation technology to help its customers get local Time Warner Cable updates, offers and news services. Time Warner Cable also improved the navigation features on its Web portal and added cinematic art from premium movies and shows.
“At the top of every page, we’ve provided answers to your most frequently asked questions, as well as detailed information about our products,” Kirkland wrote. “We’ve also included easy-to-read comparison charts to help you find the plan that best fits your needs. And we’ve highlighted useful features that even longtime Time Warner Cable customers may not already know about.
“Our support section has also been updated to give you thousands of answers to common questions, plus step-by-step tutorials and videos to walk you through setup and more. Plus, you can also speak one-on-one with a TWC representative 24/7 using our Live Chat feature.”
Time Warner Cable also revamped its mobile website in order to make it easier to shop or download its TWC apps. Kirkland also wrote that Time Warner Cable was well on its way “to making TWC.com responsive, so if you mainly connect on your iPad or Galaxy, soon you’ll get the full site experience.”
