A week after unveiling its own TechTracker app, Time Warner Cable has announced “Ask TWC Virtual Assistant,” a new tool that allows customers to ask service questions in their own words from a list of common questions and get immediate assistance. The tool is available from mobile devices and desktop computers.
“We’ve transformed our online Ask TWC feature into a virtual assistant by enabling customers to now simply type in any service question they have rather than just using search terms,” John Keib, Time Warner Cable’s EVP and Chief Operating Officer, Residential Services, said in a statement. “This tool is all about giving the customer control over their service experience by putting it on their schedule and eliminating potential phone wait times and transfers.”
TWC is touting the tool as a platform that can provide TWC with vital information as to what its customers is searching for, which will then allow the company to tailor customer service in a more efficient way.
