Time Warner Cable and Starz have reached a new agreement that allows the cable operator’s customers access to 12 multiplex networks plus MoviePlex, Retroplex and Indieplex as well as more TV Everywhere access and VOD titles.
Time Warner Cable’s subscribers can expect to have access to the new video content within the next month. Terms of the expanded agreement weren’t announced.
With the new deal, Time Warner Cable subscribers can watch Starz and Encore premium programming on their PCs, Macs, iOS devices and select Android and other mobile devices.
Expanded VOD services are also available in many markets, as well as bonus material for original series via Starz On Demand. The agreement also gives Time Warner Cable customers access to first looks at new Starz movies while also catching up on past episodes and series.
