Time Warner Cable announced this morning that it has added live streaming from Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network to its TV Everywhere lineup.
The video content is available to Time Warner Cable customers that subscribe to the two channels. Customers can view the shows, which include news coverage and market updates, anytime, anywhere by using the Fox News iPad and Fox Business iPad apps.
Time Warner Cable became the first cable operator in the nation to offer up live TV shows on an iPad with launch of its free TWCable TV app in March of last year.
Fox, along with Discovery and Viacom, was one of the programmers that initially were opposed to Time Warner Cable streaming its feeds to iPads, which led to some of the shows being pulled before a resolution was reached.
Time Warner Cable has continued to add new features and functionalities to its IP-based iPad app and added live streaming to some Android devices earlier this year.
