Time Warner Cable’s West Region will be offering its subscribers 3-D HD movies in on-demand mode starting on Tuesday.
The first wave of movies will feature content from Warner Bros.’ library, including “Under the Sea,” “Nascar 3-D” and “Journey to the Center of the Earth.”
To watch the 3-D content, customers must have a 3-D television, compatible 3-D glasses and a 3-D-capable HD converter connected via HDMI.
A spokesman for Time Warner Cable said this morning that the cable operator will be launching a 3-D category within HD movies on VOD in most of its markets later this month.
