Time Warner Cable subscribers can now access a host of Viacom Web portals to access TV Everywhere content anywhere, anytime.
Time Warner Cable subscribers already had access to Viacom programming via its TWC TV app, which serves up live show to computers, iOS and Android devices within a home, but now they have access to an expanded lineup of full-length episodes from BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Spike and VH1.
Customers can watch episodes of their favorite shows online from any computer by verifying their subscription to the Viacom networks by logging in to Viacom-authenticated websites with their Time Warner Cable IDs.
Viacom, along with Discovery and Fox, was one of the programmers that was initially opposed to Time Warner Cable streaming its feeds to iPads, which led to some of the shows being pulled before a resolution was reached.
