TOKO, Inc., a developer/manufacturer of electronic components focused on coil-based products, is demonstrating a self-developed wireless power supply system.
According to the company, wireless power supplies offer many advantages, including convenience, reliability, waterproofing property and dust prevention. This technology has found widespread applications in various fields, particularly cordless phones. TOKO has shipped a cumulative total of more than 12 million wireless power supply products. It expects to have them employed for small portable devices such as mobile phones and digital cameras. TOKO has joined the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) to step up R&D in this area.
