Sine wave inverter design help – I am designing a sine wave inverter using a PIC16F1936. I have generated two signals which are complementary and I am getting a sine wave from the two signals after the RC filter in Proteus. Now I want to design the power stage. Can I design a power stage without output transformer that is using just MOSFETs? If yes, should I use an H-bridge topology? 89s52 consumes more current in power-down mode – I am trying to work on power-down mode using an 89S52. My problem is that it consumes about 0.500μA of current but the data sheet says current consumption in power-down mode is 50μA. I have not connected any components to my circuit and it contains only 89S52, 11.05962 crystal, 33pf capacitors for crystals, and an Li-ion battery. Read more
Relationship between Vref and LSB error of ADC – Can someone explain to me the relationship between Vref vs LSB error? I’m a bit confused with datasheet of ADC. I’m using an LM35 sensor for temperature measurements and an ADC MCP 3004 for analog-digital conversion. This AD5142 IC has me stumped. I have tried every combination I can come up with and there is nothing I can do to make it work.

PIC16F676 analog AC inputs detecting problem – I am having a problem with a PIC16f676 controller for detecting an analog input to RA0, RA1, and RA2. It’s working well only in RA0 and RA1. I think its comparator output pin is not detecting input AC voltage. Read more
