Meeting international specifications for harsh environments, Datatronics’ 4283-1200 and 4283-1250 Series transformers operate in line and portable medical devices, such as defibrillators, industrial lasers, ion generators for powder coating and painting equipment, cathode ray tube transformers and traveling wave tube transformers. The flyback 4283-1200 Series offer primary-to-secondary isolation of up to 7 kVDC and the ability to drive impedance loads requiring up to 2,000 VDC. The center-tapped secondary 4283-1250 Series exhibit primary-to-secondary isolation of up to 7.5 kVDC, the ability to drive impedance loads requiring up to 2,500 VDC, and the creation positive and negative outputs. The outputs make the transformers able to drive a full wave bridge rectifier, ground in the center, positive on one side and negative on the other, or they could be used as a half wave output providing either a positive or negative voltage.
