Time Warner Cable is now serving up episodes of AMC’s “Mad Men,” “The Walking Dead,” “Breaking Bad,” and other shows out-of-home on its TWC TV app.
The AMC video content is the latest addition to Time Warner Cable’s out-of-home VOD offering, which was first announced on iOS devices in April. Time Warner Cable subsequently added support for Android and PC devices.
In addition to VOD, the TWC TV app also supports live streaming of some its programming to authenticated subscribers. Time Warner Cable announced the additon of the AMC video content on its corporate blog.
Time Warner Cable has lined up more than 1,100 hours of on demand TV shows and movies from 26 networks, and up to 11 live TV news, sports and entertainment channels, including Time Warner Cable local news, traffic and weather channels NY1, NY1 Noticias, YNN and News 14.
