Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks can now offer up more TV Everywhere video content from NBCUniversal’s broadcast and cable networks to their subscribers.
Time Warner Cable and Bright House authenticated subscribers now have access to live and on demand content from NBCUniversal’s suite of cable networks including USA Network, Syfy, Telemundo, Bravo, Oxygen, CNBC, MSNBC, mun2, NBC Sports Network, and Golf Channel, as well as local NBC and Telemundo owned broadcast stations.
Over the next few days, Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks customers will gain access to NBC Sports Live Extra and Golf Live Extra services via apps on iOS and Android devices, as well as online.
Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks will be rolling out the remainder of NBCU cable and broadcast networks starting next month.
Both Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks customers previously had access to programming from NBCUniversal’s Spout, E! and Esquire Network.
Time Warner Cable is in the process of being acquired by Comcast, which also owns NBCU. Time Warner Cable has traditionally negotiated most programming deals for Bright House Networks.
