TWC bolsters business team with two SVPs

October 3, 2012 By Mike Robuck

In an effort to continue driving its business services growth, Time Warner Cable has added two senior vice presidents to its business services executive team.

Time Warner Cable promoted Greg King to senior vice president, business services product and strategy and hired former Cablevision executive Stephanie Anderson as senior vice president, marketing for business services.

King will oversee all aspects of product strategy, development and management for business services while Anderson will oversee all marketing, sales and customer relationship management activities.

Both King and Anderson will be based out of the Time Warner Cable corporate offices in New York and report to Gerry Campbell, executive vice president of business services.

“These appointments reflect the leadership commitment we have to further support this rapidly growing business and to continue seizing the opportunities that are before us,” said Campbell. “Greg, with his strategic mind, leadership skills, and technology acumen, and Stephanie with her versatile background, combined with her collaborative, results-driven focus on marketing and sales, are the perfect fit to ensure we are well positioned to meet the ever changing demands of the markets we serve.”

King joined Time Warner Cable in 2010 as group vice president, business services strategy and was part of the team that helped acquire and integrate cloud vendor NaviSite in a deal last year worth $230 million. https://www.cedmagazine.com/news/2011/04/it’s-a-wrap%3A-time-warner-cable-completes-navisite-purchase

King began his career at ATX Communications in Philadelphia. He for 20 years at an international transportation company, where he started as a systems architect in 1991 before becoming director, MIS in 1993, CIO in 2000, and ultimately was appointed to its board of directors in 2006. In 1998, King also co-founded and was CTO of a small telecom services company that built its own switches to provide customized business telephony services.

Anderson spent the last three years serving as  Cablevision’s vice president, commercial markets marketing and advertising overseeing marketing and advertising for all sales channels.

Before joining Cablevision, Anderson was the chief marketing officer and advisor to the CEO for Presence Technology, a privately held company based in Madrid and Barcelona, Spain, specializing in call center software solutions. She has also spent a number of years at Avaya, Inc., Lucent Technologies, and AT&T in various sales, marketing and operations roles.
