Time Warner Cableand Bright House Networks have secured the rights to offer NBC Universal’s full portfolio of broadcast and cable network programming through their TV Everywhere applications.
The content from Comcast, the company that aims to acquire TWC, includes the USA Network, Bravo, Oxygen, CNBC, Syfy, Telemundo, MSNBC, mun2, Golf Channel and NBC Sports Network.
The multi-screen deal also includes local NBC and Telemundo-owned broadcast stations.
The announcement was made on TWC’s Untangled blog, by Tara DeGeorges, director of digital content, who wrote: “You can enjoy NBCU entertainment starting this week; NBC Sports Live Extra and Golf Live Extra services are available via apps on iOS and Android devices, as well as online. We’ll be rolling out the remainder of NBCU cable and broadcast networks starting September.”
