Time Warner Cable is continuing it Maxx service deployments, this time in several new Kentucky and Indiana markets: Bowling Green, Ky., Lexington, Ky., Louisville and Jeffersonville, Ind., and Evansville, Ind.
Internet speeds will be faster, and subscribers will see improvements to the TV product and overall reliability as well, Mark Dunford, area vice president at Time Warner Cable, says.
With residential Internet plans, customers will see speed increases up to six times faster, depending on their current level of Internet service — without additional charges. Customers who formerly got up to 15 Mbps, will receive up to 50 Mbps. Those previously at up to 30 Mbps will receive up to 200 Mbps. Subs who formerly got up to 50 Mbps will receive up to 300 Mbps.
The advanced TV experience includes an expanded on-demand library with more than 30,000 titles. Customers will also see overall network performance standards, according to TWC, as part of its previously announced commitment to improve them companywide via a review and upgrade of every hub.
Last month, TWC announced its Maxx service was available to customers in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Improved services were previously made available in TWC’s New York City, Los Angeles, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Kansas City, Raleigh and Charlotte markets.
