Time Warner Cable is enticing American Express cardholders to sign up for its premium SignatureHome Premium View tier thorough an exclusive partnership.
The MSO’s subscribers that sign up for SignatureHome Premium View with their American Express cards gain access to a first-year rate of $199.99 a month, with savings of up to $300 on the all-inclusive package, which includes premium TV, Internet and phone services. Without a promotion, Time Warner Cable charges $230 for SignatureHome.
The promotion also gives American Express cardholders complimentary access to the Signature View Channel, which will include movies from Tribeca Film. The Signature View Channel will also feature bonus “extras” such as behind-the-scenes content and extra footage of one-on-one interviews with film directors and actors. SignatureHome Premium View customers also have access to a dedicated specialist who is on-call, day or night, should they ever need assistance.
Time Warner Cable President and COO Rob Marcus mentioned the partnership during last week’s first-quarter earnings call.
“We added a best-ever 14,000 SignatureHome customers in Q1, bringing the total to 50,000, and we just signed an exciting marketing pact with American Express to present an exclusive offer to card members who sign up for SignatureHome with their American Express cards,” he said. “We think partnering with Amex is a great way to promote the SignatureHome product and further enhance our brand.”
The offer runs through the end of the year. In order to take advantage of the savings and additional perks, the cardholders need to be new subscribers to the SignatureHome Premium View package, as well as sign up for Time Warner Cable recurring bill pay via any American Express credit or charge Cards.
