Verizon is complementing its FiOS TV with broadband-delivered fare from several Disney properties, including ESPN and ABC.

On the heels of an extensive carriage agreement announced in September, Verizon will offer its high-speed subs access to broadband video services such as ESPN360, ABC News Now, Disney Connection (videos, games, movie trailers, cartoons, etc.), and Movies.com Max.

Later this year, Verizon plans to add SOAPNETIC, SOAPnet’s Internet video service, to the telco’s broadband content lineup.

Verizon’s fiber-fed data service caps the downstream at 30 Mbps, and the upstream at 5 Mbps.

Linked to the deal, Verizon will also offer more than 80 hours of “free” on-demand content per month from Disney Channel, Toon Disney, Radio Disney, Jetix, ABC News, ABC Family, SOAPnet, ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPNU.

Verizon’s FiOS TV service will also offer new titles for $3.95 each from Buena Vista Pay Television, the distributor of Flightplan and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Starting April 1, BVPT will also give Verizon access to older, library flicks (Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland, Bad Santa, among them) for $2.95 apiece.
