Verizon has come up with new price offerings for the voice, Internet and TV services that it offers to small businesses.
Verizon said today that small businesses could save up to 25 percent off the a la carte, month-to-month pricing if they are willing to sign the three-year agreements. Verizon said it was offering the discounts to help small businesses through the current economic downturn, but it faces increased competition for small- to medium-size business customers from cable operators.
Verizon’s new Single Line Business PAK and Freedom for Business Expansion PAK triple-play options for voice, Internet and TV begin at $119.98 per month when a customer signs a three-year agreement. Double-play bundles of voice and Internet begin at $84.99 per month for a three-year agreement in most areas.
Verizon said the new Single Line Business PAK and Freedom for Business Expansion PAK bundles are intended to simplify and streamline services for small businesses. Annual contracts are also available for bundled services and offer a 10 percent discount off month-to-month prices for the services priced individually.
The new bundles are available to Verizon small-business customers who can bundle either high-speed Internet, DirecTV, and Verizon Freedom for Business unlimited local and domestic long-distance calling, or can bundle FiOS Internet, FiOS TV and Freedom for Business over Verizon’s fiber-to-the-premises network.
In addition, a rebate of $188 for a router is available to new Single Line and Freedom for Business Expansion PAK customers who bundle Verizon Freedom for Business voice service, which includes unlimited long-distance calling across the U.S. with either data or FiOS Internet.
