Verizon announced today that its quad-play package of wireless, video, data and home phone services is now available to subscribers in its Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets.
The packages are available to subscribers who are served by Verizon’s FiOS service, or through its partnership with DirecTV. The quad-play services are provisioned over Verizon’s 3G and landline networks.
While Verizon didn’t provide specific information on the price of getting the quad play on one bill, it did say that customers could save from $59 to $179 per year depending on which tier they order.
Verizon’s quad-play bundles will initially be available in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets where Verizon offers landline and wireless services. Verizon said the new bundles would be introduced in other markets in the future.
New customers who sign up by Jan. 16 for FiOS quad-play or triple-play bundles that include broadband and TV will also receive a $150 Visa prepaid card. New customers who subscribe to quad-play or triple-play bundles that include Verizon Freedom Essentials, Verizon high-speed Internet with an up-to-3 Mbps or 7 Mbps speed, and DirecTV’s video service will receive three months of free high-speed Internet service.
