In yet another chapter of phone companies and MSOs suing each other over advertising claims, Verizon has filed a claim against Time Warner Cable (TWC) over a series of advertisements that TWC has been running.
Verizon said the ads falsely suggest that subscribers need a satellite dish to get video from Verizon, and that TWC’s network is better. The company is suing for damages.
TWC says the claims are without merit.
An example of the ads Verizon objects to resides here.
