Verizon Wireless and Comcast have added a set of new markets in which the two will market each other’s services.
The two have made available their combined quad-play bundle into various markets in California, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.
The two are offering a range of incentives to customers that include Visa prepaid cards valued up to $300; a Comcast HD DVR at no additional cost for six months; and/or a complimentary 12-month upgrade to Blast!, the Xfinity Internet service that provides download speeds of up to 50 Mbps.
Verizon Wireless bought fallow spectrum owned by Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications and Bright House Networks and has been co-marketing with all four.
Verizon Wireless and Comcast have previously introduced offers in other cities in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah and Washington.
