Unitree Robotics founder Xing Wang told IEEE he is a big fan of Boston Dynamics founder Marc Raibert. The homage is clear in the first video from Wang’s company, which is working on a quadrupedal robot of its own. The video includes a disclaimer that the robot does tend to fall over, but as a research machine that may eventually be used as an assistant or a mule, it’s certainly a start.
