The newest creation from Boston Dynamics is here, and it looks a bit sleeker than its predecessors. The next iteration of the SpotMini seems to have gotten some cosmetic upgrades, with curved legs reminiscent of a race car and a bright yellow chassis that covers up all that wiring. The video released on Monday is just a teaser trailer for … something, so perhaps expect more SpotMini antics coming up. The four-legged robots have been adopted by SoftBank in a June acquisition. SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son said that Boston Dynamics will “advance the field of robotics and explore applications that can help make life easier, safer, and more fulfilling.”
