Canadian cable operator Videotron announced recently it was investing $3.3 million in its customer contact center in Gatineau.
The investment by Videotron supports local economic development in the Gatineau area. More than $1 million will be spent on employee training and $2.3 million on the new premises, in addition to the $2.13 million spent last year on expansion of the customer contact center.
“We are proud that Videotron continues growing and delivering on its commitment to provide the best-possible customer experience,” said Robert Dépatie, president and CEO of Videotron. “The new employees will enhance our ability to give our customers expert guidance and to make their lives easier. Videotron is also proud to be an active player in regional economic development in Québec, and we are eager to hook up with talented people in the Outaouais region.”
