In China, 1,069 robots busted a move in a coordinated routine. This performance set a new Guinness World Record for “Most Robots Dancing Simultaneously.”
This particular record has been quite popular over the past year, since this title could help boost a company’s profile. UBTECH Robotics was the reigning champ back in April 2016, putting together a simultaneously robotic performance 540 strong.
Ever Win Company broke that record to pieces with a 1,007 dancing robot troupe in August 2016. This attempt stood out from the rest, since all the robotic dancers were controlled using just one mobile device.
WL Intelligent Technology’s robot named “Dobi” was used to set the current record. It’s an app-controlled design, standing 47 cm tall. The world record is now 1,069 simultaneous dancing robots. Although, that number could have been a bit higher, but few machines fell over during the song and were not counted.
