Verizon is now offering more interactive features for its FiOS subscribers in west-central Florida.
New updates to FiOS TV’s Interactive Media Guide (IMG) have included increased video-on-demand personalization, purchasing power via remote control for ESPN programming, gaming widgets and new navigational shortcuts.
The suite of features is now available to subscribers in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Manatee and Sarasota counties.
Verizon, which competes with Bright House Networks in Florida, has previously added the new iTV features in Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York, and the telco will add other FiOS TV markets over the next few months.
