The Rocky Mountain Chapter of Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT) is seeking nominations for the organization’s seventh annual Walk of Fame Gala.
This year’s awards, to be presented on May 25 at the Hyatt Regency Tech Center in Denver, will honor industry leaders in the categories of Woman of the Year; Woman in Technology; Woman of Influence; Mentor of the Year; and Woman to Watch.
WICT said nomination forms will be e-mailed directly to all Rocky Mountain Chapter members. The information is also available on the Web.
Last year, Leslie Grayson, the group VP of operations for Time Warner Cable’s National Division; and Cathy Kilstrom, the SVP of customer care for Comcast’s West Division, were named Women of the Year, and inducted into the WICT RM Walk of Fame.
Other honorees from 2005:
– Mentor of the Year: Ron Cooper, president and COO of Adelphia Communications;
– Woman in Technology: Rebecca Lim, senior director of advanced services, Starz Entertainment Group;
– Women to Watch: Maria Arias, VP of law and government affairs, Adelphia; and Wendy Farley, senior director of government affairs for Comcast’s Colorado operations.
Past Walk of Fame inductees include Colleen Abdoulah, Ann Carlsen, Charlotte Field, Lisa Lee, Michelle Sie-Whitten, June Travis, Ruth Warren, and Linda Williams.
