Windstream has selected Verizon Wireless as the primary provider for it wireless service.
Under the contract, Verizon Wireless will provide wireless phones and service for Windstream’s corporate and field workforce.
Headquartered in Little Rock, Ark., Windstream provides high-speed Internet, phone and digital TV services to residential customers and IP-based voice and data services to businesses and government agencies.
“Verizon’s robust network and device lineup will help Windstream employees work more efficiently, whether they are in the office or on the go, and provide even better service for our customers,” said Mark Todd, vice president of procurement at Windstream.
Windstream is an S&P 500 company with operations in 29 states, including the District of Columbia, with annual revenues of about $4 billion.
