Kinetic, Windstream’s TV service, is now available in Sugar Land, Texas. The company reports that more than 30,000 homes in the city can sign up for the new TV service, which the company boasts uses a “100 percent fiber-backed network to provide an enhanced viewing experience.”
“Kinetic is a TV service like cable, only better,” Windstream states at its consumer-facing website. In addition to the 100 percent fiber-backed network, customers are offered HD channels, whole-home DVR and Kinetic’s wireless set-tops.
This marks the third Kinetic market rollout following launches in Lincoln, Neb., and Lexington, Ky., last year. The service provider is on something of a Sugar Land roll as it recently announced Gigabit Internet service for the city as well.
The two services make Sugar Land one of the most advanced and connected communities in Windstream’s consumer markets, according to the company.
