Canadian streaming service shomi is now available for streaming on Xbox One. The interface is powered by You.i Engine, which also powers the shomi interface on iOS, Android and PlayStation 4.
“We’ve heard from many shomi members and Xbox One users that this launch is something they’ve been waiting for. We’re thrilled to have shomi available on this popular platform,” Ann Tebo, senior director, customer experience and insights at shomi, says.
Xbox One owners can now stream the likes of “Mr. Robot,” “Mad Dogs,” “SuperMansion” and “Catastrophe,” along with day-and-date releases of “Empire,” “Jane the Virgin,” “Fresh Off the Boat,” “iZOMBIE” and “The Originals.”
The shomi service is also available to Canadians online, on select tablets, mobile devices, set-tops (on Rogers Channel 300 or through the Shaw On Demand menu), Xbox 360, Apple TV, Chromecast and PS4.
