Dr. Thomas Lynch, director of the Yale Cancer Center, will address some of the latest developments in cancer research and treatment in a live Web video interview Thursday, Sept. 13.
Known internationally for his leadership in the development of novel, genetically targeted therapies for the treatment of lung cancer, Lynch was named director in 2009, and also serves as physician-in-chief of Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven.
He previously served as professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and chief of hematology/oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center.
Lynch’s interview is the latest in the @YaleLive series, a live video interview program offering people worldwide an opportunity to query Yale’s great minds. Viewers may submit questions before and during the interview via Yale’s Facebook page, Twitter@Yale or socialmedia@yale.edu.
