Zenita Henderson has joined the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers and its global arm, the International Society of Broadband Experts, as director, marketing operations and business development.
She has nearly three decades of experience in the cable business, including roles with General Instrument, Motorola and Arris. With SCTE/ISBE, she is responsible for developing and implementing marketing initiatives that communicate the value of SCTE/ISBE within and beyond the industry.
“SCTE/ISBE is at an inflection point: leveraging new ideas and advanced engineering concepts to position the industry for the next decade or more,” Terry Maloney, VP, marketing and business development at SCTE/ISBE, says. “Zenita Henderson’s ability to direct campaigns across audience segments, her skills in managing sponsor relationships, media and social media and her access to decision-makers at every level will play essential roles in our ability to increase the impact of our future marketing and business development activities.”
Henderson began her cable career in customer service with General Instrument, before moving to a series of increasingly senior community relations, trade show management and national and international marketing roles. She most recently served as senior marketing manager for Arris.
Henderson currently serves as VP of the Philadelphia Chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications.
