Zone TV has expanded its SVOD agreement with Comcast, announcing Monday that two additional OTT video services are now available on the cable operator’s X1 platform.
The latest additions are Quark and XiveTV, which are available for $4.99 per month each and can be accessed through the networks section of Xfinity On Demand or via the X1 voice remote.
Quark programming is focused on advances in science, technology and space exploration, with shows like “The Amazing World of Gravity” and “Life on Us: A Microscopic Safari.” XiveTV, meanwhile, touts a large collection of long-form documentaries covering topics like wildlife, history, adventure and the paranormal.
Zone TV said the two services were developed with Alliant Content, an independent programmer of long-form factual film and TV shows across digital platform.
“We are thrilled to bring Quark and XiveTV to Xfinity X1 and to build on a great partnership that enables Comcast customers to enjoy and discover some of the best content on the planet from the best screen in the house: their television,” Jeff Weber, CEO of Zone TV, said in a statement.
Comcast customers can also access Zone TV SVODs including FitFusion TV, PlayKids, Tumblebooks, and Lion Mountain TV.
Zone TV’s SVODs can also be found on DirecTV, CenturyLink, and Frontier Communications, among others.
