Hirose Electric has expanded its FunctionMAX™ family with the FX36 Series floating board-to-board connectors, which feature a 0.5 mm pitch, 125°C heat resistance and a two-point contact design for vibration-prone automotive powertrain applications. The connectors accommodate misalignment of ±0.7 mm in the X and Y directions and ±0.5 mm in the Z direction, while absorbing 0.05 mm of PCB vibration in the Z direction to support compact BEV and HEV multifunctional systems.
