Infineon Technologies AG has introduced a 27 kW three-phase power supply unit (PSU) reference design for AI server racks and systems based on the OCP Open Rack V3 specification. The design supports 311 to 528 VAC input, reaches peak efficiency above 98% at 480 VAC and 50% load and provides a power density of 116 W/in³ using a five-level ANPC PFC topology and a three-level LLC converter. It also includes a 20 ms integrated energy buffer, digital control for load transients and a power factor above 0.99 across most of its operating range.
