Infineon Technologies AG will supply CoolGaN™ 900 V monolithic bidirectional switches to Enphase Energy, Inc. for use in its IQ® Solid-State Transformer power modules. The GaN devices integrate bidirectional voltage blocking and current conduction in a single switch and are intended for high-frequency power conversion in AI data centers and solar inverter applications where reducing component count and power-stage complexity is important.
