Mediacom Communications has just secured the rights to offer HBO Go and Max Go to its subscribers.
The MSO said it will be launching the services over the next few weeks.
Mediacom customers who subscribe to HBO, Cinemax or both will have free, unlimited access to that content at any time, on any computer in the U.S. with a broadband connection, as well as on Apple products, select Android devices, the Xbox 360, Samsung Smart TVs and Roku.
HBO Go offers more than 1,400 titles, while Max Go offers more than 400 titles of Cinemax programming online.
Through these online services, Mediacom customers will have access to most new titles simultaneously with their premiere on the networks; the ability to create a “Watchlist” that keeps track of bookmarked content for later viewing; bonus content, including interviews, recaps and behind-the-scenes extras; and customizable views showing titles in slideshow, grid or list format, Mediacom said.
A “Series Pass” feature on HBO Go automatically alerts viewers to new episodes of favorite HBO programs when they arrive on the service.
