Bridge Technologies has released an interface for its VideoBridge series of IP-Probes, allowing the probes to be integrated with any monitoring system, not just Bridge’s.
The External Integration Interface (Eii) provides both SNMP and XML interfaces to all the measurements made in real time on the VideoBridge probes.
Integrators can choose the level of details they want dynamically, the company said, and probe setup and configuration can be controlled from any application.
“Media-over-IP is a highly complex environment,” said Simen Frostad, chairman of Bridge Technologies. “It’s vital that operators can make the maximum use of data in any system, or on multiple systems. VideoBridge IP-Probes generate the precise and detailed data operators need, and with Eii, it can be piped into third-party systems, such as Skyline Communications’ DataMiner, for analysis and further examination.”
