The world is chock full of interesting ideas, and TinkerENG is the show to bring those ideas to life.
TinkerENG is an online, reality-based video series that follows product ideas from original concept to completion. Season 1 already provided great opportunities for its featured inventions, including a licensing deal with Edison Nation for Steve Goldberg’s ToastBaker (watch ABN Now episode 3 to get a succinct recap of the exciting adventures of TinkerENG season 1, and what’s ahead for the series).
Now, it’s time to do it all again, while following the progress of season 1’s top designs. A pool of new submissions came in from inventors near and far. The show’s co-hosts, Peter Ragonetti and James McArthur, are tasked with reviewing the 20 chosen finalists, sifting out the most promising consumer projects to bring to life for season 2 of TinkerENG, and eventually on consumer shelves.
The first round of submission reviews were featured on episode 4 of ABN Now, an original news video platform that reports on the top stories in the innovation, discovery, design, manufacturing, and distribution spaces. The duo honed on some clever projects, such as a prototype flag holder that eliminates ladders from the flag-changing process, and an alarm clock that wakes you up with mist. Check out these designs and more on ABN Now episode 4!
The second round nabbed a spot on the next ABN Now episode. What submissions were featured this time around? Well, here’s a taste—a Frisbee you can throw and then control mid-air, and an automated vertical garden for your home. To find out what Ragonetti and McArthur think of these ideas, and to see the other projects that piqued their interest, head over to TinkerENG’s segment on ABN Now episode 5.
