Effective Jan. 1, Richard Shea will take over as Atlantic Broadband’s president and CEO while David Isengberg was promoted to president and chief revenue office. Both Shea and Isenberg have worked at Atlantic Broadband since it was founded in 2003.
Cogeco, Atlantic Broadband’s parent company, said current CEO and president Edward Holleran agreed to stay on as vice president of industry relations on a part-time basis.
“This structure recognizes the complementary roles that Richard and David will have in the leadership of Atlantic Broadband going forward,” said Cogeco CEO and President Louis Audet. “I’m confident that, with their years of experience at Atlantic Broadband since its very beginnings, having gained a wealth of knowledge on our business and our markets and a deep understanding of our customers, Richard and David will each play a key role in leading Atlantic Broadband to reach new summits.
“I am also very pleased that Edward will continue to serve as part of the Atlantic Broadband management team. As co-founder of Atlantic Broadband, his experience and relationships in the cable industry will be of great value to us going forward.”
Shea started his career with Atlantic Broadband as chief information officer and has served as chief operating officer the past two years. Isenberg begin his career at Atlantic Broadband as senior director, products and has held the position of chief marketing and strategy officer since 2012.
