Juniper Networks announced today that John Morris was appointed to the position of EVP of worldwide operations, while Luis Avila-Marco was appointed to the position of SVP of corporate development.
Prior to joining Juniper, Morris was president and CEO of biometric payments company Pay By Touch. Morris also spent 23 years with IBM and will replace Eddie Minshull at Juniper. Minshull will stay on in an advisory role with Juniper until the end of September.
Avila-Marco joins Juniper after a 14-year career at Scientific Atlanta, where he most recently served as the company’s VP of corporate strategic planning.
Avila-Marco succeeds Spencer Greene, who has taken on a new assignment, serving as Juniper’s SVP of customer advocacy.
